Teams

Players are grouped by age. The players age on their birthday during the current season's calendar (1-Jan to 31-Dec) determines the grade for that year, i.e. turning 5 years of age in 2008 = 5th Grade, turning 6 years of age in 2008 = 6th Grade, etc.

TRAINING

Due to the increased number of teams and the limited amount of practice fields, training nights are split across different dates.

The fields have been booked for training between 4:30-5:30pm.

2008 Training Schedule & Field Allocation
Training Schedule and Field Allocation will be decided once the final number of teams are known.

TRAINING CANCELLATIONS

Training is normally only cancelled because:
(a) Wainoni Park has been closed by North Shore City Council in order to protect the playing fields, or
(b) The coach of the team has decided that the weather conditions on the day are unsuitable for practice.

Ground closures are decided by North Shore City Council by 2:00pm and publicised on the "Parks Action Line (486 8538)". Grounds are given in alphabetical order, therefore Wainoni Park is near the end of the message.

Wherever possible the home page of the club website will be updated with the status of the fields.

If the coach has decided to cancel practice he/she will do their utmost to contact you, however if you are unsure please contact your coach.
